Kids Under Cover

Kids Under Cover supports vulnerable young people between the ages of 12 and 25 who are either already homeless or at risk of homelessness. They build one or two bedroom studios (with bathroom) in the backyards of homes to keep young people connected to family and then provide scholarships to ensure ongoing engagement with education.

Young people often become homeless when family relationships break down. This can result from a number of issues including mental illness, disability, domestic violence, neglect, overcrowding, drug and alcohol abuse and the housing affordability crisis.
Working with over 75 Community Service Organisations, Kids Under Cover prevents homelessness and changes lives.
